Job Specific Competencies: Adheres to CLABSI and CAUTI protocols Performs venipuncture, IV infusion therapy and pump usage Wound care assessment, documentation and wound prevention protocol as per policy Completes Plan of Care. Initiate, review and resolve based on diagnosis and history Completes assessments and reassessments and required documentation accurately and timely Renders appropriate nutritional care including enteral + parenteral therapies Medication administration which includes critical medications and evaluates response Adheres to infection prevention protocol including but not limited to hand hygiene, PPE and universal precautions Administration of blood and blood products Able to perform chest PT, oral, naso, tracheostomy, endo, and tracheal suctioning Activates Core Measures and Septic Protocols as indicated Able to perform chest PT, oral, naso, tracheostomy, endo, and tracheal suctioning Reports critical Lab, Radiology, EKG, + ABG values to MD a...
