Job Description

:The Command Center Registered Nurse is responsible for executing all aspects of bed management and transfer center operations in a safe and timely manner, in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. The scope is inclusive of patient access, placement, transfers and bed management. Uses clinical knowledge, critical thinking and communication skills to support the Command Center in providing a reliable, high-quality service that allows referrals, transfers, and other healthcare settings to be accepted in an efficient and timely manner.

Essential Functions

Assesses, directs and coordinates transfers and admissions from physician offices, hospitals, and other healthcare settings to the most appropriate accepting service, facility, and level of care.
