**Description:**
The clinical leader works collaboratively with the entire cath lab team to provide the optimal level of care by coordinating the clinical/technical daily activities and personnel involved in all Cath Lab procedures. They manage the flow of scheduled, emergent and add on cases on a daily basis while anticipating and proactively intervening in issues that will impact that flow such as staffing , bed capacity, etc. They are able to fully function as a cath lab RN and acts as a resource person for staff, physicians, and department directors. Expected to assist with program development, quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives. Able to actively engage staff in required program activity through inclusion and daily communication.
