The Rigger (NC I) is responsible for assisting in lifting, moving, positioning, and securing heavy materials, equipment, and loads at the construction or project site. The position ensures that rigging activities are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures, safety standards, and lifting plans. The Rigger must possess a valid TESDA National Certificate I (NC I) in Rigging or a related qualification.
Prepare, inspect, and assemble rigging gear and lifting equipment before operations.
Attach loads properly using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, and other rigging tools.
Assist crane operators during lifting and positioning activities.
Ensure proper signaling and communication during lifting operations.
Check load weight, balance, and stability before lifting.
