We are looking to appoint a full‑time Reviewing Officer working within a Countywide Adult Care Learning Disability Review Team overseeing the annual reviews of adults across our locality. The role is temporary for six months with a possibility of extension to permanent.

What is involved?

The role will primarily be working with adults with a learning disability and reviewing their assessed needs and their current care packages. This will involve arranging and completing annual reviews with service users either at their home or commissioned service placement; gaining their views and wishes and working within a multi‑disciplinary care team. You should have a good understanding of key policy, legislation and issues affecting the service user groups and their carers, and be able to work with partner agencies, providers, and other professionals, to ensure that needs are assessed and met in an appropriate and timely manner.
