Responsibilities:

• A Respiratory Therapist (RT) provides direct, specialized care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, ranging from premature infants to the elderly. They evaluate, treat, and monitor patients using methods like oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation. RTs work in hospitals and clinics, collaborating with physicians to manage diseases like COPD, asthma, and pneumonia.
