Job responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centred, integrated respiratory care as part of a seven‑day service, supporting admission avoidance and contributing to the development of the Integrated Airways Virtual Hospital in partnership with the Hospitals Trust.
• Develop and apply specialist skills in the management of patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, OSA, ILD, and support patients who require home oxygen therapy.
• Undertake comprehensive respiratory assessments, including physical examination, clinical analysis, and develop individualised evidence‑based management and treatment plans.
• Implement specialist care programmes such as home oxygen therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, medication optimisation, and psychological support interventions in line with national and local guidelines.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families/carers living with long‑term and life‑limiting respiratory conditions.
