Engaging, innovative teacher with strong communication skills and collaborative team spirit.
Work in mainstream and specialist schools, closely collaborating with DHH students, whanau, and school staff/teams.
Full‑time permanent role covering caseloads in Mangere – Bucklands Beach and Takanini – Mt. Wellington.
Maintain records, liaise with families and whanau to promote student participation and success.
Proven best practice and experience working with Deaf children and/or mainstream children.
Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or an experienced NZ registered teacher.
Own vehicle with mileage reimbursed (subject to conditions).
Existing skills or willingness to develop proficiency in New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) and listening and spoken language practices for DHH learners.
Recent practical experience with early levels of the New Zealand Curriculum.
