National Centre for Advanced Integrated Photonics (NCAIP) is a Mid-Sized Centre funded by the National Research Foundation. The key objective is to support efforts to develop new photonics technologies that can be translated to the semiconductor industry.
Terahertz frequencies are considered as the next frontier for high-speed communication due to availability of huge bandwidth. The candidate should be actively involved in developing low-loss photonic devices and interconnects (waveguide, antenna) for high-speed communications. He/she should make regular progress report to PI.
