Responsibilities The Magnet Science and Technology Division of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) is seeking an exceptional individual for a Research Faculty position for magnet design and system analysis. This position will primarily involve electromagnetic, structural, and thermal analysis and design of new and existing high magnetic field systems employing resistive conductors and low and / or high temperature superconductors.

• Specific targets as outlined in our strategic plan are a 40 T all-superconducting magnet system and high-field HTS inserts up to 60 T.
