Posting Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated research associate non tenure track to join the Max Tischfield lab. Our research revolves around two key areas: (1) understanding circuit mechanisms and the neuropathogenesis of Tourette syndrome and related conditions (OCD, ADHD, ASD) using genetic mouse models; (2) the development and functions of brain waste clearance systems, specifically understanding the development, integration, and maintenance of meningeal lymphatic vessels with the glymphatic system and how these processes are affected in disease. Applicants have the opportunity to work in EITHER focus area. Current projects seek to understand the role of mechanotransduction signaling and force-based control of cerebro-lymphatic drainage and waste clearance, and how we can leverage these processes to reduce neuroinflammation and cognitive impairment in disease states. Those interested in Tourette syndrome and related conditions have the opportunity to inves...Take the next step and apply for this exciting opportunity
