Purpose of the role

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor who will play a key role in ensuring that our homes are safe, well-maintained, and fit for the future. You will report to and support the Responsive Repairs Manager and take responsibility for the contracts for responsive repairs. Overall responsibility will comprise enforcement of the contract terms to ensure a reliable repair service, quality standards and budgetary control.

Main accountabilities

Specify and order repair works, working with technical colleagues and suppliers as needed to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Maintain budget control for repairs contracts, monitoring spends and contributing to annual budget planning alongside the Finance Team.
Oversee the repairs process for void properties, ensuring fast turnaround and delivering homes that meet a high standard for incoming residents.
