The rental mechanic position is responsible for keeping all of our equipment clean and correctly maintained. This position will report to our SHELBYVILLE, IN store location. Essential Functions Provides excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. Cleans all rental equipment. Conducts repairs and maintenance on rental equipment; generates purchase orders for repairs or required maintenance. Purchases small tools and any supplies needed to repair the equipment. Inspects equipment on a regular basis to comply with company safety policies. Assists in updating DMV registration and current insurance. Checks out customers at the rental counter, including completing contracts, taking payment and instructing customer on how to use the item. Deliver and pick up rental items as needed.
