Duties Safely packaging items before removal or storage Wrap & protect furniture into special wrappings and packing cases for shipping overseas. As a specialist packer, you might go to a location before the move to wrap and pack delicate items, like china, glass, artwork and antiques. Using packaging to protect fragile items such as computers or antiques. Taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal. Taking down curtains and lifting carpets if needed.
