**GENERAL SUMMARY:**
Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, performs non-invasive vascular tests to assist physicians in diagnosing disorders of the Vascular System. Performs related clerical duties. Provides care to adult and geriatric patients.
**Education:**
+ Associate’s degree in Nursing or an allied health science (cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or the like) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required for extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as specific vascular anatomy and physiology.
+ Must be a Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Society of the Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
+ Advanced knowledge of vascular diseases and the ability to apply vascular disease theory is required to determine the appropriateness of tests being requested.
