Job Description
The UltrasoundVascular Lab Tech (R) works under the supervision of the Director, Associate Director, Manager, and Lead Technologist to provide the technical knowledge and expertise to safely and accurately perform sonograms in abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular specialties. In addition, technologists assists the radiologists in performing invasive procedures, accurately charting, and consenting patients for procedures. Is responsible for taking ultrasound call as necessary to ensure 24 hour / 7 days ultrasound services. Schedules specific times for exams, considering priority.
Responsibilities

• Interpret a provider's instructions. Communicates with nursing staff and providers regarding clinical procedures.
• Screen patients. Reviews the patient's medical record to verify the appropriateness of a specific exam or procedure.
