Duties & Responsibilities Assist the surgical team to perform surgical procedures on patients successfully. Ensure accurate charging by managing clocking time. Carry out all departmental duties as assigned by supervisors. Provide a safe, clean, and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Take responsibility for Theatre and cases on a daily basis where you are allocated. Effective risk prevention and management. Attend handover of report at shift commencement. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care. Refer all complaints from patients and doctors to the sister-in-charge of the unit/CNS. Assume responsibility for maintaining competence in theatre processes. Mentor and supervise junior healthcare providers and support staff. Facilitate a learning environment.
