Registered Nurse - Short Stay Surgical Unit

We're recruiting for our short stay surgical unit (SSU) which has recently opened at Allevia Hospital Epsom (Previously Mercy Hospital). The SSU incorporates pre and post op Surgical and Orthopaedic Patients and is a day stay unit and sits adjacent to our post cardiac investigations unit (CIU). The FTE is 0.8 (32 hrs per week). This role is 4 x 8 hour shifts. Shift start and finish times are staggered across the opening hours which are 0800 – 2100.

You're an RN with NZ registration and current experience in an inpatient surgical environment , within a NZ hospital, or a comparable healthcare system (e.g. Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada). Plus, you either have some experience nursing cardiology patients, or an interest to learn.
