**POSITION PURPOSE**

+ Registered Nurse to support IV Insertions and Phlebotomy.
+ This is a Part-Time, benefited position scheduled 24 hours per week on the night 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift with holiday and weekend rotation.
+ This RN will rotate to a variety of units starting IVs or drawing blood for patients who are determined difficult IV access.
+ Ability to communicate within the inter professional team to determine best IV access will be necessary.
+ Education will be provided on the use of ultrasound and different types of IV catheters prior to starting role.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

+ Under limited supervision, the Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan. The RN interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise.
