**Position Summary:**
The PCU is a 36-bed unit for telemetry, step down, or intermediate level of care. Patients requiring peritoneal and hemodialysis, cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillator placement, post-operative monitoring, and interventional radiology may be placed on PCU. Our patients receive continuous cardiac monitoring, and some may also receive continuous oxygen saturation monitoring.
