The Labor & Delivery Department at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is an extraordinarily high-volume maternity unit dedicated to caring for patients experiencing normal/natural childbirth, as well as complicated high-risk deliveries, patients with substance abuse, and pregnancy loss. The Labor & Delivery Department encompasses an OB emergency department, labor suite, OR, PACU, and ICU.
