Unit 3-1 is a **fast-paced General, Urology, and Colorectal Surgery unit** providing specialized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures and those with renal disease, including **peritoneal dialysis (PD) at the bedside** .

+ **Telemetry Class 2 unit** with continuous cardiac monitoring as indicated
+ Primarily **post-operative surgical patients** from PACU, with additional direct admits from surgeons’ offices and the ED
