MedStar Union Memorial Emergency Department is a 50-bed unit consisting of 34 main ED beds, 12 non-urgent beds, and 4 psychiatric rooms. Union Memorial is a Primary Stroke Center, STEMI receiving, and home of the Curtis National Hand Trauma Center. The Emergency Department takes pride in their team nursing approach to providing safe and top-quality care to their patients.
