Hospital Staff Nurse -Operating Room- Full Time-Shift

The Kern Medical Perinatal nursing staff provides high level care to over 400 moms and babies each month. These patients include some of the highest risk pregnancies in the country. Our medical and nursing staff partner with UCLA, Valley Children's Hospital, CHLA and Fresno Community Regional hospitals to plan care and initiate referral/transfers for Perinatal and NICU services.

Under the supervision of a nurse leader (Chief Nursing Officer, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Nurse Leader), independently prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient and performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care for patients.
