your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver safe, research-based standards of nursing care
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs)
• Provide education and support to patients for the management of their health, recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives to deliver positive outcomes
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for safe clinical practice
Essential Criteria:
• Authority to Work in Australia
• Working with Children Check (if relevant)
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
• Current Registration (without restriction) with AHPRA
• Minimum 1 year experience within a Medical/Oncology hospital setting
• Understanding of cytotoxic medication
• Experience in venepuncture and CVAD care
