Oncology/Hematology RN Charge Nurse to lead daily operations on a specialized unit for blood disorders (like leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma) and cancers, balancing patient care with leadership, including staffing, patient flow, managing complex treatments (chemo, blood transfusions, CAR T-cell), mentoring staff, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team for optimal care. Patient population is mainly adolescents/adults/geriatrics. 3x12 nights, float required, weekend rotation required.
3 yrs oncology experience REQUIRED (hematology preferred), 3 yrs charge experience REQUIRED. Will accept 1st time travelers if experience required is met. 36 hours of orientation, caribbean blue scrubs not provided by unit, EPIC experience required.
Certifications REQUIRED: BLS, ACLS, CHEMO, state license.
Skills/experience REQUIRED: Inpatient oncology, administration of chemotherapy.
