**UW Medical Center – Northwest** has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and compassionate **Oncology Nurse** to join our new Oncology unit.

**DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:**

4A is an oncology unit serving hematology-oncology and medical-oncology patients. Common diagnoses include lymphoma, sarcoma, and a variety of solid-tumor cancers. This unit specializes in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, management of treatment-related side effects, end-of-life care, and care of cancer-related complications such as pain, immunosuppression, electrolyte imbalances, and organ dysfunction. Specialized equipment includes chemotherapy administration supplies and a carbon-filtered chemotherapy spill PAPR. This unit is also a resource for central venous access device care and maintenance.

**WORK SCHEDULE:**

+ 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)
+ Variable Day/Night rotations
