your responsibilities will include:

·Provide exceptional cardiac patient care, including the patient and their families.

·Deliver evidence-based nursing care

·Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

·Ensure patient and staff safety

·Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Undergraduates to deliver patient care

·Proactively assess the nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient

·Complete all required documentation in accordance with local and National Policies

·Provide nursing care to a variety of cardiac patients (heart failure, chest pain, arrhythmias)

·Provide nursing care to patient both pre and post cath lab (coronary angiograms, PPM, PCI’s etc)

·Provide nursing care to patients both pre and post op Cardiothoracic surgery
