Job Description
Currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Bethesda, Maryland, to work in the Labor & Delivery Unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to provide care to Active Duty heroes, their family members, and retirees.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE RN - L&D:
Coordinate patient care through a continuum and facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to care, quality and cost effectiveness. Establish priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources including time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain excellent patient assessment skills. Use the nursing process as a basis for professional practice. The contracted RN will demonstrate proper preparation of patient s for treatments and procedures, to include surgical interventions.
