Permanent, Full-Time – 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically unwell patients requiring complex and intensive monitoring and interventions. You’ll complete comprehensive assessments, plan and evaluate nursing care, and use advanced clinical judgment to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Working closely with intensivists, allied health, and wider hospital teams, you will contribute to safe, coordinated, and culturally responsive care for patients and their whānau. Your role includes maintaining accurate documentation, supporting new staff and students, actively participating in Variance Response Management (VRM), and contributing to quality improvements within the ICU.
