Nurse Resource Pool/Float Registered Nurse (RN)

The Nurse Resource Pool/Float Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to improve the care of all patient care areas included within Resource Pool/Float assignments. Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in multiple care units. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs and specific care of the patients served in the assigned area of practice. Provides peers with formal or informal constructive feedback for improvement. Supports colleagues and other nurses through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality nursing care.
