Summary The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) Ambulatory Surgery Unit - Post Anesthesia Care Unit is seeking qualified applicants to join our team! Responsibilities The Pain Management Registered Nurse (RN) identifies gaps in knowledge or care delivery within the pain management team and initiatives interprofessional education and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. Develops audits and/or research activities to improve evidence-based standards of care. Advocates for a Whole Health model of care and treatment of patients with pain and provides leadership to clinical support staff in advocating for patients' care and rights beyond immediate care needs. Program or service level outcomes must be broad and complex and can be demonstrated at any organizational level.
