To succeed in the role as a Registered Midwife/Lactation Consultant, you will need to bring a genuine interest in caring for women and their families through the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. You will be an experienced midwife with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an inclusive and vibrant environment that values and supports our diverse families. While the Lactation Consultant will focus specifically on the breastfeeding experience for the family, they will also be responsible for providing breastfeeding education, guidance, and support to staff working within the Postnatal Ward, Birthing Unit, and Special Care Nursery.
