The role: 
The role of this post holder is to work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group. Competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for this defined patient group
In the absence of the department manager or deputy, provide cover to ensure effective operation of the department
