About the Role
This is a newly funded role working alongside an AOD RN in the Adult Emergency Department (AED) at Auckland City Hospital, one of seven national pilot sites for implementing screening, brief and early intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT) for patients with alcohol and other drug problems. You will also be a resource for the AED staff by providing information and education on substance use, motivational interviewing, brief intervention and harm reduction where required or requested.
