New Zealand Red Cross managed by Volunteering Canterbury

We're looking for friendly volunteers to deliver meals from our Christchurch Central pick‑up point on Lincoln Road to surrounding suburbs including the city, Papanui, Fendalton, Upper Riccarton, Riccarton, Bryndwr and Merivale. Shifts start and end at the Lincoln Road pick‑up point, and meal pickup time is 11 am Mon‑Fri. We offer a contribution towards petrol. You can volunteer once a week, fortnightly, monthly or even on an on‑call basis.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years and a valid MOJ check
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own vehicle with valid registration (rego) and warrant of fitness
• Two character references
• Will be trained in the role and supported by Red Cross Meals on Wheels coordinators and other volunteers
