Age: The employment age range for recruitment and placement is 18 to 61. The maximum employment age of 61 is not applicable for reappointed retirees who have received a notice of RIF separation.

Hauptaufgaben

Performs lifeguard duties, responsible of safeguarding the lives of persons using the swimming pool. Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. Ensures that safety rules are followed. May be called upon to conduct swimming instruction. Observes activities in and around the pool to insure compliance with safety and sanitation rules; provides information to swimmers regarding safety regulations; enforces all pool regulation with tact.
