Location: Riverhead, NY | Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours per week| Status: Non-Exempt |Salary: $23.62/Hour



The Opportunity



The THRIVE Recovery Residence Peer Advocate will provide recovery support services via coaching and group facilitation onsite at housing programs THRIVE has developed partnerships with. The THRIVE Recovery Residence Peer Advocate will provide majority of services in the field within the housing programs, addressing the needs of residents within the programs.


Responsibilities


+ Develop strong working collaboration with staff at housing programs that Director has developed partnership with.

+ Identify in-home needs of residents within housing programs, provide coaching and groups to meet these identified needs.

+ Identify community based supports, including events at THRIVE Recovery Centers, to connect residents with.
