Masters or PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years experience in resin industry, with substantial experience in unsaturated polyester resins or similar thermosetting polymers.
Experience in leadership or managerial role.
Responsibilities
Lead development of new UPR formulations tailored for specific applications like composites, artificial marble, pipe grade, roofing sheet, boat grade, button grade, general purpose resins, SMC, etc. Innovate new products and optimise existing products for improved performance in properties including heat resistance, stability, flame retardancy and mechanical strength.
Serve as the primary technical expert for the company. Work with sales and marketing to provide technical consultation to customers, troubleshoot application issues, and conduct product testing.
