STV has an opening for a Rail Vehicle Quality Inspector to work out of a client manufacturing site in Sacramento, CA as a part of our Vehicles department. The ideal candidate will be interested working in manufacturing sites as well as client sites to review Rail Car Systems and quality programs audits of parts suppliers.
The Rail Vehicle Quality Inspector we are seeking must possess minimum of 8 years of experience in the manufacturing and overhaul of Rail vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our clients’ requirements throughout the United States and Internationally on major Rail vehicle programs.
The inspector must be experienced and knowledgeable in the following areas:
Rail Vehicle assembly methods and processes.
Jigs, fixtures and production line equipment calibration and control processes.
Welding processes and AWS standards.
