Band 3 Radiotherapy Bookings Coordinator

We are recruiting a Band 3 Radiotherapy Bookings Coordinator at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the patient pathway between multiple departments/specialties and external trusts to avoid cancer wait breaches.
• Serve as the link between patients, oncology wards, consultants, planning department, chemotherapy outpatients, treatment machines and medical records in coordinating the treatment pathway for each patient referred for radiotherapy.
• Prioritise and allocate appropriate appointment slots for each stage of the treatment process, liaising with relevant staff as necessary.
• Proficiently and efficiently utilise a variety of electronic systems, demonstrating competent IT skills and knowledge.
