**Overview**

GovCIO is currently hiring a part-time Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Health Services Portfolio Technical Management and Strategic Solutioning Support (HTMS) program within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This role is a fully remote position within the United States. Core office hours are 8am – 5pm ET this position is part-time, 29 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**

Serves as the principal advisor and subject matter expert for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Health Level Seven (HL7), Valid Data Length (VDL) for primary and secondary diagnostic codes for business rules and processes, workflow standardization, governance, stakeholder engagement, and operational support.
