Summary: This job supports Mercy's philosophy of patient centered care by performing general diagnostic radiographic procedures to any part of the human body. This position also processes lab tests, performs venipuncture, and where applicable, maintains all requirements of a CLIA-approved lab.

Job Duties/Essential Functions

• Utilizes EPIC system's Admissions and Radiology Module to register patients, close orders, enter repeat test information and where applicable, order tests.
• Identifies each patient and reviews each patient's requisition for consistency of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis.
• Prepares and orders images and obtains previous films by use of the PACS-Isite system.
