Radiologic Technologist
Radiologic technologist thrives in a fast pace and high patient volume environment is responsible for obtaining radiography of the highest diagnostic value, while providing excellent patient care, radiation protection, and customer service. Works closely with nurses and doctors and contribute to the overall OIC team to provide patients with the best care from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Uses radiation conservatively and closely adhere to the principles of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) as set forth by the California department of public health.
- Responsible for recording occupational radiation exposure through the use of dosimetry devices.
- Ensures all images are promptly and correctly transferred to PACS and kept in the patient's medical record.
- Protects patient privacy and follow the guidelines of HIPPA.
