To be responsible for the organisation and coordination of the support services provided by Radiology Department Assistants (RDAs) and Radiology Porters.

To provide positive leadership and line management of the RDA and Porter teams within the Radiology Department to ensure maximum efficiency of the patient journey.

To provide direct patient care in the Radiology Department ensuring that the patient experience is of the highest quality.

The post holder will be primarily based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital but may be asked to work at other HHFT sites to provide cover.

Main duties of the job

·To provide direct line management for the RDA and Porter teams including the effective rostering using Health Roster and daily job allocation to ensure effective support for the imaging teams and timely movement of patients across the hospital to the appropriate imaging department.
