Duties

Provide radiation therapy to patients, ensuring precise and effective treatment.

Utilize ARIA and EPIC charting systems for accurate patient documentation.

Operate Varian 21 EX/iX equipment for treatment delivery.

Calculate and administer radiation doses using the Treatment Planning System, including Pinnacle and Eclipse.

Perform tumor localization and use beam modifying/positioning techniques.

Implement isolation precautions and adhere to radiation safety protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Skills

Experience with adult acute care pretreatment and external beam therapy.

Proficient in IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy).

Competency in custom molds, shields, and block cutting.
