**Radiation Therapist Summary:**

The radiation therapist administers ionizing radiation to the patient and collaborates with the medical physicist, dosimetrist and radiation oncologist in the preparation and delivery of radiation treatments. This role performs services for patients from all age groups.

**Hours | Schedule:**

+ Per diem
+ Normal hours are 8 am - 5 pm but will vary depending on patient volume and treatment schedules.

**What the Radiation Therapist will do:**

+ Delivers the prescribed course of radiation therapy.
+ Performs final patient chart check before treatment initiates.
+ Prepares room and equipment for the patient.
