Go through and understand building project contracts 
Able to read and understand building drawings 
Use AutoCad or equivalent software to go through drawings and do measurement or dimensioning in order compute quantity of materials required 
Do proper documentation of project documents and drawings 
 Requirements  NITEC / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
