            Responsibilities Take off all quantities from the received drawings and specifications, including items not mentioned in the BOQ or not shown clearly in the drawings. 
Check and verify BOQ items regarding quantity and specifications required, and report to the Sr Estimator / Estimation Manager accordingly. 
Write down and report all discrepancies found in the tender document, especially those between drawings, specifications and the BOQ. 
Prepare shop drawings as required, including layout for tenders. 
Check and verify project built‑up area. 
Study and verify received quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and fill unit rates in cost comparison sheets. 
Prepare cost comparisons for different items, whether for supply of materials or services to be provided by subcontractors. 
Assist in writing and filling the BOQ to be submitted for the Consultant / Client.
