Our client in Scarborough, a manufacturer of Cardboard Products, is hiring for Quality Technician

Location

Scarborough (Finch Avenue East & Markham Rd)

Shift

• Day: 6 AM to 2 PM
• Afternoon: 2 PM to 10 PM

Pay rate

$21.01/hr; $0.50 afternoon shift premium

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling rounds in dedicated areas.
• Follow sample preparation and testing procedures.
• Examine samples and detect anomalies.
• Document the results and observations in dedicated computer system.
• Organize work effectively.
• Comply with internal procedures and safety standards.
• Required repetitive lifting of 35 lbs.

Qualification

• Rigour, autonomy and an eye for detail.
• Experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment (ideally paper/cardboard or similar).
